Places to stay in Maine

Bar Harbor: The magic of Bar Harbor is romance, adventure, the rock-bound coast and soaring granite cliffs. From the stonewall-lined and tree-covered road leading you into our village, to the sweeping vistas from atop Cadillac Mountain, there is a special mystique to Bar Harbor. Nestled on the east side of Mt. Desert Island, surrounded by Acadia National Park, we have welcomed visitors for over a hundred years. And now we welcome you, too! Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park have a wide variety of offerings for visitors

Old Orchard Beach: It's almost impossible not to have fun at Old Orchard Beach. The low surf makes this a favorite spot for swimming, sunbathing, and making new friends. When the kids get hungry they can explore the boardwalk for pizza, french fries, hot dogs and cheeseburgers, or you can choose from the many family style restaurants around town. Try your luck on the video games, jump on a ride, treat yourself to an ice cream or a cold soda. Thrills, chills and frills-take your pick or do it all

Ogunquit: Ogunquit means Beautiful Place by The Sea in the language of the Algonquin Indians. It has been called "the most walkable community in Maine" because of its 3 1/2 miles of white sandy beach, and the famous Marginal Way, a 1 1/4 mile walking path connecting Ogunquit center and Perkins Cove, a miniature turn of the century fishing village. Getting around Ogunquit is easy in season with there efficient Trolley system - just listen for the sound of the approaching bell.

Wells: Wells is a town in York County, Maine. Founded in 1643, it is one of the oldest towns in Maine and a popular summer destination. It's the perfect location for a family vacation and experiencing all that Southern coast of Maine travel has to offer.

Bangor: The City of Bangor, in the heart of Maine, offers visitors the best of both worlds: a friendly city that's filled with excitement, opportunity and activity, and a gateway to the natural beauty of the great state of Maine. The City and surrounding communities have many wonders to explore and because of its central location in the state, day-trips to the rock-bound coast or rugged mountains are easy to arrange.
