Places to stay in Cornwall

Penzance: Located on the shores of Mount's Bay - a body of water dominated by the grandeur of St. Michael's Mount - Penzance is Cornwall's largest and most westerly borough. Only 10 miles from Land's End, the town is surrounded by an area of Celtic culture and outstanding natural beauty. Majestic cliffs, rocky coves, pristine sandy beaches and crystal clear seas vie with the heather and gorse of the moors and early Christian and Bronze Age sites to form a landscape that is the heritage of a proud culture, and a source of inspiration for artists, writers and poets.

Newquay: Newquay, the experience capital of the UK, a superb family destination and for those wanting quality short breaks. No doubt about it, Newquay is THE experience capital of the UK! Adventure, excitement, adrenalin, relaxation, fun you name it, we've got spades of it. Talking of spades we've got beaches, loads of em so you can throw that into the mix as well!

St Ives: St. Ives has a Mediterranean feel about it, with its maze of cobbled streets and alleyways, crescent shaped beaches with golden sands and turquoise sea - all set in the uniquely rugged granite landscape of West Cornwall. St Ives offers the visitor everything that they could wish for in a seaside resort. From the moment that you arrive in the town you are stunned by the panoramic vistas that seem to greet you on every turn.

Falmouth: Falmouth is Cornwall’s largest town, but it is also a popular tourist resort and features a busy harbour and wide sandy beaches, which are ideal for families. The bustling town centre features high street shops and specialist shop selling crafts, seafood and watersports equipment.

Padstow: Padstow is a picturesque, bustling fishing village situated in the Camel Estuary where the river meets the sea, but sheltered from the Atlantic by the magnificent headlands. The working harbour is always a hive of activity and is the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by in one of the waterside cafes or listen to the various concerts that take place regularly over the summer months on the band stand.
