Places to stay in Bristol

Bristol: Bristol was once one of the most important trading ports in England, and the city’s links with the ocean span hundreds of years. Much of Bristol’s rich history is still evident today, acting as a lasting tribute to the brave adventurers and merchants who once set sail from the city docks

Clifton: Clifton is the name of both one of the thirty-five council wards in the City of Bristol in England, and of a large suburb of the city that lies mostly within that ward. The Clifton ward also includes the areas of Cliftonwood and Hotwells.

Southville: Southville is an inner city ward of Bristol situated on the south bank of the River Avon and northwest of Bedminster. Most of the area's houses were built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries either for workers in the Bristol coal mining industry or the tobacco factories of W. D. & H. O

Henbury: Henbury is a suburb of Bristol situated approximately 5 miles north west of the city centre. It was formerly a village in Gloucestershire and is now bordered by: Westbury-on-Trym to the south; Brentry to the east and the Blaise Castle estate Blaise Hamlet and Lawrence Weston to the west. To the north lies the South Gloucestershire village of Hallen and the entertainment/retail park Cribbs Causeway.
