Places to stay in Prince Edward Island

Charlottetown: Charlottetown is the capital city of Prince Edward Island and as such is steeped in history. Visitors can live it up with live theatre, local pubs, festivals and outdoor cafes! Spice it up with fresh seafood, shopping and traditional song and dance! Or just take it easy with scenic waterfront strolls, gallery gazing or antique browsing.

Summerside: Summerside is Prince Edward Islands second city, located in Prince County. It is situated just over an hours drive away from Charlottetown to the East. In Summerside there's always something fun to do for everyone in the family - whether it's strolling through the charming, historic neighborhoods, catching a show at the beautiful Wyatt Center, or enjoying any number of year-round sports and recreation events.

Montague: Montague the Beautiful, as the name suggests, is one of the prettiest towns on Prince Edward Island. Graced with a tranquil river, lovely tree-lined streets and stately homes, it is a wonderful environment for residents and visitors alike. Montague's location in the heart of Kings County also makes it a regional centre of business and commerce, an excellent place for investment. The town itself is located along the Montague River in what used to be known as Township Lots 52 and 59. It lies approximately six miles upstream from Cardigan Bay, allowing for easy access by water to the Northumberland Strait and the Atlantic Ocean

Cavendish: Cavendish is located in Queens County, Prince Edward Island, on the islands North Shore. As one on the main tourist destination on the island, visitors can golf on world-class championship courses or play mini-golf with the kids. Outdoor activities also include deep sea fishing, horse back riding, para sailing, sea kayaking, amusement parks and historic sites. Cavendish Beach, in Prince Edward Island National Park, is a regular sand-colored sandy beach, with some lovely dunes and the main tourist attraction in the Cavendish area.

Souris: Souris is a unique town on the Eastern end of Prince Edward Island, the gateway to "Iles-de-la-Madeleine". You'll see long white sandy beaches, roughed coastlines and green rolling hills. At the start of the town you will find a beautiful beach where you not only can swim and relax with a picnic but clam dig for your supper. Also, for your pleasure are kayak and bike rentals. The Port of Souris is also fishing station, a commercial shipping port and an inter-provincial ferry terminus, making the Port a focal point of economic activity on the Eastern end of Prince Edward Island
