Places to stay in Ontario

Toronto: Toronto is a city that holds all the wonders of the world in one clean, safe, friendly place: a theatre scene rivaled only by London and New York, more than 80 cultures from across the globe, attractions that range from high art to rowdy family fun, and polished services for business travelers. What could make that better? How about packing many of our most popular attractions within walking distance of each other. In downtown Toronto, a short stroll is all it takes to travel between thousands of hotel rooms, great sports venues, the CN Tower, major convention centres, endless shopping, top theatre, the waterfront, and inspired cuisine. Beyond the cozy and quirky neighbourhoods of the city are more fabulous attractions, plus countryside, Niagara Falls, a wine region and outdoor adventures, all an easy drive away.

Niagara Falls: Niagara Falls, with eclectic restaurants, contemporary hotels, and electrifying attractions, is a true Canadian vacation destination for couples and families alike. Grown ups have upscale hotels, modern casinos, nightlife and concerts, fine dining, golf courses and spas, and wine country is just down the road. For children, Niagara Falls is a veritable theme park with ultra tall buildings, water parks inside hotels, Ferris wheels and kid-friendly restaurants, and even sneaks in some education at Niagara Falls attractions like the Butterfly Conservatory and Marineland. Let's not forget the Falls. From the Maid of the Mist to Journey Behind the Falls, there are plenty of ways to experience this great wonder of the world

Niagara-on-the-Lake: Niagara-on-the-Lake is ideally situated for short getaways or longer touring holidays. The village itself is renowned for the Shaw Festival, excellent boutique shopping and fine dining. There are several historic sites and museums in town, and our side streets, with their beautifully preserved homes and lush gardens, are wonderful for relaxed strolls. Ontario's Niagara wine country is beloved by visitors. Touring estate wineries is a popular pastime, and Harbour House has designed cozy nooks both indoors and on the patio so that guests may enjoy their winery purchases in a beautiful setting

Ottawa: Ottawa enjoys the attributes of a major centre for the visual and performing arts and has been described as one of the most beautiful capitals in the world. Less than an hour's drive from the American border it has a number of big city attractions. Despite it's size, it still maintains the accessibility, atmosphere and charm of a smaller city, in addition to access to spectacular park and wilderness areas located within and around the city. Canada's capital city is notable both for its concentration of cultural institutions, some 29 museums in all, and for its spectacular access to parks and wilderness just minutes from the downtown city center. Straddling two provinces, Ontario and Quebec, the city is a blend of English and French cultures, with almost half of its residents being bilingual

Stratford: Stratford is a city on the Avon River in Perth County in Southern Ontario. The swan has become a symbol of the city and each year twenty-four white swans and two black swans are released into the Avon River. When the area was first settled in 1832, the townsite and the river were named after Stratford-upon-Avon of Shakespearean fame.
