Churchill: Churchill is a town on the shore of Hudson Bay in Manitoba. It is most famous for the many polar bears that move toward the shore from inland in the autumn, leading to the nickname "Polar Bear Capital of the World" that has helped its growing tourism industry.

Portage La Prairie: Portage la Prairie is a city in the Central Plains Region of Manitoba. The area of the city was 24. 67 square kilometers . It is located approximately 70 kilometres west of Winnipeg and sits on the Assiniboine River, which flooded the town persistently until a diversion channel north to Lake Manitoba was built to divert the flood waters. The city is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Portage la Prairie
